Hello I'm

My name is Sila, I was born in Madrid in 1998, and since I was a child I have enjoyed drawing, "inventing" different gadgets, and making calculations. Whenever they asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up I always told them that I wanted to design household appliances, now I realize that I was not so far from reality.
 
In 2013 I studied at King's College in Bristol, England, and I had the opportunity to take the two subjects that I have enjoyed and learned the most: "Art" and "Technology". In "Art" I was able to develop my creativity and learn many different techniques of artistic representation and photography and in "Technology" I was able to carry out my first Industrial Design project when I was only 15 years old, redesigning, prototyping, and testing an ergonomic comb handle.
 
When I returned to Spain I already knew that I wanted to dedicate myself to designing products that were aesthetic without losing sight of their functionality, so I decided to combine my two passions, design and mathematics. I  graduated on a double degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development and Mechanical Engineering at the School of Industrial Engineering (ETSIDI), at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and I did a Master's degree in Digital Product Modeling in EsDesign Barcelona online University.

I see myself as a designer who brings creativity, commitment, and a positive mindset to every project. My leadership abilities and strong communication skills enable me to effectively coordinate the team, transmit ideas to clients, and present projects. I am eager to apply my diverse background in design and engineering to make a tangible impact on healthcare, accessibility, and inclusivity through product design that is both aesthetic and functional
